overboard and down. November 18, 2008

i'm watching tours come through my work.  it's interesting to listen to.

i'm trying to not be bitter.  work has been infuriating.  just so annoying and making me ill.  additionally, i'm just feeling pretty sad about some stuff.  i think basically from my birthday through new years, i can expect to have waves of depression.  other things aren't exactly helping either.  i have some really cool people around that help.  me and n had a cool night last night just chatting, when we were supposed to be crafting.  i felt really good last night.  i talked to one of my friends last week that i hadn't spoken to in months.  it was strange trying to sum up what has happened since mid-sept.  i always stumble over those kinds of questions, like i can never remember how to do a length recap.  anyway. it was nice to hear a friendly voice.

some things i haven't exactly mentioned before
- i maybe have been pouring over job listings.
- i maybe have been pouring over apartment listings.
- i do care, i feel bad about some stuff that's going round.  i love to say i don't care, but i do. (i feel really sick after writing that)
- i was just thinking about mentioning what music i've been listening to, but really, it's not that exciting.
- i loath the cold weather and the snow.
- i loath christmas coming.
- i loath thinking about the holidays this far in advance, it's ridiculous and sickening, thanksgiving isn't even here.
- i feel like i don't really want to know every detail anymore.  there is a thing as too much information for sure.
- i'm counting down the days until january, and travel and seeing unfamiliar faces and places.
- i can't wait to have my extended vacation from work. two days is not enough.
