i used to think it was fun to be mistaken by a student, but something about it, today, just made me angry. particularly when it was by someone i have seen around before. and they had no idea who i was. or that i worked here. gosh, just a bit irritating.
has everyone made their muxtape? i signed up but didn’t do it yet. i am curious about their “rules” no uploading more than one song from an artist, is that some kind of fake copyright thing they are trying to get around? don’t know. speaking of copyright/ wrong… i get to see lawrence lessig play tomorrow. whoo hoo. i cannot wait. i’m such a fan. i think it will be awesome. worth getting up at 4 AM? seriously, i don’t know who could contend with getting up at 4AM vs. sleep in my book, but i think it will be a great opportunity.

got outta town for a bit, dc. gutter twins made me happy, 9:30 was just as i had left it. amazing space, me and d got the space on the right balcony, right down at the end. good times. i think we all know that i love gd, so, no need to spew how much i love him. i was also psyched b/c jeff klein was playing in the band, i love that guy. i feel good about the shows i am going to see soon, okkervil river, spoon, other stuff. i think it’ll be a good spring for music.
semi-pro was pretty funny, will arnett is really funny. lebanese taverna was delightful.
i’d like to say things are feeling better, but they aren’t, sometimes.
i wish i could say that i have made anything, but i haven’t since i made these hats in the hosp. they came out really cute, no i don’t have photos.

Fuzzy Gonzalez Memoriam
so, i haven’t really talked about this on the blog, but by watching this, at least the beginning, i don’t have to write about this terrible thing that’s been going on in my life, and you can see my wonderful dad in action doing his thing, and well, i can again not have to write all the details of why i’ve been so so so silent. i can’t believe he’s on youtube, gosh, people really dug that guy, just like i did.
