purchased tickets to both spoon (and the walkmen…..) and the new p0rn0graphers/ okervil river shows.  rock, they are like 5 days apart.  (if anyone is particularly interested is being my extra, let me know. both will be awesome shows….)

i’m beat tired, but after seeing the buckcherry vid that’s on tv right now, i think, wow, after this, anything will be good.  actually, it’s been an amazing morning and it’s only 730.  i woke up to tangled up in blue, followed by crazy mary, followed by into your arms, are you kidding?  best morning ever.  then i hear that making lists of fav. songs is not just for the end of the year, gd has a list for v-day.  man, that’s all i can say about that.

apparently some people aren’t looking for valentines, i.e. don’t be my valentine.   what a crush i have on all things pew.

ok, my last thoughts on the worst day of the year... if you sent me one of those, i totally would be your valentine.

for today. decision at 2 pm…. nearly done with the dress, it’s a bit more exposing than i thought it would be, in the chest area… hm. work that out. might run (i.e. walk) to the art supply store to get some stuff going for h’s bday… wonder if they are open?

so, here i am, waiting to hear if i have to go to work today.  it’s snowy, rainy and all the other forms of precipitation, and every other campus is closed, except for us… what a mess.  i might not have to go in if they close the campus early, so cross your fingers. all of you!

it’s h’s bday this weekend so i need to get cranking on making something fab. for her.  that’s what i should be doing instead of being on the computer, but i needed to get some real work done, so i needed to use the computer. anyway.

i have nothing to report about the weekend, i made some stuff, i nearly finished a dress i have been working on for a bit, there will be no bedazzling, don’t worry,  i’m making style c, and just kind of did my thing.

s took a sewing class, so i am psyched to have someone to talk about sewing with.  maybe we can even sew together, that would be amazing….  sewing is such a solitary activity- i wish we had a sewing studio or sewing place here, remember when they wanted to have a general art space in town?  what ever happened to that idea…. bs.

i had that feeling like you’re about to get sick this weekend, it was terrible.  i took lots of echinecea and i feel a bit better, although i have a crushing head ache at the moment.

ok, i’m gonna roll, hopefully soon i can stop reading work email and get home and make some stuff….
