first things first. why am i blogging in a different location now? well, i am just trying out wordpress for no other reason than it i was asked by a prof. recently, why don’t you use wordpress? so i thought i’d give it a whirl.
have i even properly mentioned school? it’s ok, it seems so disjointed this semester, like there were all of these great plans, but yet, nothing is coming out properly, whether for me, or for the classes themselves. i am only taking three classes again; i can’t believe i ever took more than that. maybe i am just lazy. there’s a service learning aspect to my one class, should be cool, if it ever works out in any sort of final official detail. we are supposed to be working on helping people to learn to use the new voting machines.
some things are really good as concepts but then you try and apply them to life and can you really? maybe not. i really like the CONCEPT of one of my classes, but as an actual class, aside from the humour and and some other positives, it’s actually just a time filler, with me getting roped into things outside of class too….
i am still working and dig it, still. to compound the whole weirdness thing, we had a power outage at work which lasted almost two hours, and then a week later i could not get my car to start and then just magiclly it started right up.
it’s suddenly really fall, it’s rainy and miserable outside, all in time for m to come back i guess. it almost too cold for just a skirt and boots today, i think i should have worn pants underneath my skirt. it’s not even october yet.
i’ve been applying for jobs, trying to not have a mad rush at the end of school. nothing yet to report.
i am amazed by the constant of change. not just for me, but for everyone i know. i think back to the way things were just a year ago and it’s totally insane how much we have all changed. some of us are more calm than ever, some of us are more wild than ever, some of us are just as boring as ever.
i have sewn some dresses for fall. like mod kind of dresses that i can either wear over stuff or just with tights and all, i dig that.
