sorry for the false advertising, i know the title of this post is much more exciting than the contents.
1. i just saw one of those “sounds of the 70s” type commericals and i was instantly reminded of my love of the song “if i can’t have you… ” from saturday night fever. i feel like i need to start a section of this blog for my guilty pleasures. i actually would not call it a guilty pleasure b/c really i don’t care if the rest of you scoff at my selections. i love that damn song. also on the list would be “don’t you want me baby”, i think that may be my fav. song of all time.
2. the drama seems to be settling, so i hope everyone’s lives will go back to normal soon. i hear it was a full moon last week, so maybe that’s what was up. at least unlike some people, i didn’t end up arrested….
3. i must see walk the line this week. i think i’ll go on thanksgiving since i have absolutely nothing else to do that day….
4. i need a new knitting project, something small scale, suggestions from any of the knitters in the house?
5. i watched some of pretty in pink again today on television. the scene with the simulated chat session between andi and blaine crack me up. that must have been super way high tech back then.
6. the weekend in general went ok, i feel like i dealt with some really strange crap this weekend, but i also had some really good stuff happen. i guess most things work themselves out in the end, right?
7. a friend had an arty event this weekend. it was so nice to see everyone appreciating him and his work. he’s a popular guy, that one. i feel really proud to be his friend. how did i end up with such creative, awesome friends, and then there’s me???
